Fun with the cousins...

Drew, Keli, McKenna and Cadence came to visit in June.

We went to Gateway Park to and played mini-golf...

Drove go-karts...

And rode in the big go-karts with Nana & Papa...

They went super fast!

We had lots of fun!

Street Art & Rockies Game...

Sunday, June 8, 2008
We went downtown and viewed some amazing chalk art on the streets.

The art was only there for the weekend - it was amazing to see how much work went into something that would be gone the next day.

The kids got to create their own "masterpieces"

Janae's "birthday parties"

Jonah's "money of the world"

Jonah met up with his baseball team and got to walk around the field.

Grouchy pants...

We sat in the Rockpile (the cheap seats).

Jonah & Dad enjoying the nice weather and baseball game.

Awesome Air Show...

Ken and Jonah went to an air show in June,
so here's Jonah with lots of cool planes and stuff...

Girl Scout trip to the Aquarium

Janae took her first field trip as a junior Girl Scout to the downtown Aquarium.

She went on a scavenger hunt in the exhibits and...

...she even got to go "behind the scenes" to the 3rd floor above the tanks and see how they feed and care for all the animals.

Jonah's Kindergarten Graduation

Walking up the aisle...

Waiting with his class to get his diploma...

Jonah's picture of his parents...

On Jonah's Graduation day (May 22, 2008), there was a tornado warning in the district, which means that all the schools go on lock down. No one is allowed in or out, and because of the possibility of a tornado, the students have to hide in bathrooms and closets that don't have windows. So right before graduation (although it was sunny outside) - Jonah's class of 25 kindergarteners had been stuck in a small bathroom for more than 20 minutes.
They didn't seem any worse for the wear : )
There was a tornado that struck the town of Windsor that day (about an hour northeast of here).  It was a weird weather day, since the tornado struck before noon, while most tornadoes hit in the late afternoon. The town is still in the process of rebuilding, as many homes were destroyed that day.

Spring Baseball

Jonah played for the Mets

through Niwot Youth Sports

He got to play most positions

and enjoyed coach pitch (as opposed to t-ball)

He had a great time, and we enjoyed watching!
